What is Parish Outreach? 

Parish Outreach is people helping people according to the Gospel of John 13: 34, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” 

What does Parish Outreach do?
Parish Outreach helps our Parish Community respond to those who are hurting and helps those in need to help themselves.  Parish Outreach convenes persons with like needs and goals. 
Parish Outreach advocates on a local, national, and global level for a just society that protects our God-given human dignity.

Who can get help?
Anyone who lives within St. Anthony’s Parish boundaries, regardless of race, religion or financial situation, is eligible. Registered parishioners living outside the boundaries are also eligible.

 Help We Can Give 

Services to Homebound, Ill and Elderly -   assurance calls to the homebound; visit  the sick, hospitalized, and homebound; shopping; wheelchairs and sick room equipment available for loan. 

Transportation - to doctors, clinics, church,, supermarkets, etc. The Parish Outreach van can accommodate wheelchairs.   

 Employment Exchange - Job/career counseling. 

Ministry of Consolation - Brings the love and support of our Parish Community to families during the time immediately following the death of a loved one.  

Support Groups -  for parents of pre-school children, widowed, senior citizens, and bereavement. 

Referral and Information Services  

Crisis Intervention - offers people in immediate need of food, financial assistance, counseling, etc., the help they seek. 

Christmas Giving Program

Marty Duggan Memorial Scholarship -  to assist a senior in high school going on to higher education. Must be a registered member of St.Anthony Parish.

Come and visit the Parish Outreach Center at 1025 Fifth Ave. (located at the far end of, The Trinity Regional School building).

You can also call us at  (631) 261-1695. Parish Outreach office hours are 10am to 2pm Monday thru Friday. After hours leave your name, phone number and a brief message on our answering machine.
