Welcome Committee
Contact: Jean Coticchio (757-0331)
The St. Anthony's Parish Welcome Committee was founded in the summer of 2003.
The
purpose of this ministry is to warmly welcome new parishioners by first calling
them on the
telephone for a few minutes to welcome them, introduce ourselves and talk a
little bit
about parish life. Then we make a short home visit to drop off a welcome packet
of parish
information and gifts, including a home baked good. We make our home visit with
a partner.
Once a year we invite the new parishioners to a liturgy, and communion breakfast
for the
new families to meet and celebrate their new parish membership with committee
members and
our families.
